Jamboree 2024 will be at the Alma Mountain Meadow. The Jamboree is open to all members, their wives, children and guests. It's a great event for the family and wonderful opportunity to introduce others to the IORMG. First Assistant Grand Herdsire Rod Rayment will once again have a few activities for any kids joining us.
The Jamboree is a free event and the IORMG picks up any costs. We have no amenities at this site so bring plenty of water and if you have an extra pop-up we could use for common area shade and Saturday Brunch that would be great.
All members are encouraged to bring a hors d'oeuvre to share for the Saturday night Happy Hour. Our theme this year will be South of the Border so wear your favorite sombrero and bring your best Mexican inspired dish. Porta potties will be on site as well as a dumpster this year because of the clean-up happening the previous weekend.
As an added attraction, the
26th Annual Festival in the Clouds 2024 will be happening down the street at the Alma Town Park.
Directions to the site are:
From Fairplay go north on CO HWY 9 5.1 miles and take the 2nd right past Mosquito Pass road, 1st right is directly after Mosquito Pass and is a driveway. Take first left after about 250 ft. and pass through the gate.
From Breckenridge take CO HWY 9 south, pass through the town of Alma and take the 4th left after the Historic Alma Sign on the south side of town. First left is directly after the sign. Take first left after about 250 ft. and pass through the gate.
